Who's Jimbo?

Jimbo started the Magical Mystery Poker Tour in June 2007 with a report from his first big tournament, EPT Warsaw. Over the next few years the blog followed him from the Loose Cannon club in the City of London to the Irish Open, UKPT stops, the WSOP in Las Vegas, and countless home games — with a running P&L, brutal honesty about the bad beats, and a cast of regulars who deserve their own sitcom.

The original lived on Blogger at magicalmysterypokertour.blogspot.com. This site brings the whole archive back — every post, P&L table and trip report — and gives it somewhere to carry on.

Where to start

• The very first post — EPT WARSAW - APOCALYPSE
• EPT WARSAW - APOCALYPSE — The legendary 18-whisky EPT debut, and what happened after.
• Vegas Day 6 - Made The Cash — Into the money in the $5k WSOP event, having busted Chris Ferguson on day one.
• Returning to form at just the right time — Fluke's home game and a heads-up session against the Baron.
• Good Intentions — An evening "totally devoid of poker". It was not.
• End of Year — The first losing year, honestly accounted for.
